Privacy Policy
This is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

This statement applies to zorvito.ch as well as to zorvito.de, zorvito.at and zorvito.com, which all lead to the same shop. It complies with the Swiss Datenschutzgesetz (DSG) and, if you live in the EU, with the Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO).

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one.
The principle
We only collect what we need: to carry out your order, to reply to you and to see what works in the shop. We do not sell your data.
When you visit the shop
When a page is called up, technical data is generated: IP address, date and time, the page called up, browser and device, the page you came from. Without it, the shop could not be delivered and could not be protected against attacks.
Basis: our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO; Art. 31 DSG).
When you order
We process your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, order and payment data. Without these details no purchase can be made.
We never see your full card details. They go directly to the payment provider.
If you order as a subscription, the payment provider stores a means of payment for us so that the monthly charge is possible. If you cancel the subscription, this authorisation also ends.
Basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and the statutory obligation to retain business records (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO).
When we deliver
For shipping we pass on your name, address and – if necessary for delivery – email address and telephone number to our shipping partner. For deliveries to Germany and Austria, the details required for customs clearance are added.

When you create an account
In your customer account you can see your orders and addresses. We store the data for as long as the account exists. You can have it deleted at any time.

When you write to us
If you make an enquiry by email, contact form or WhatsApp, we process your details in order to reply. If you write to us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp's terms apply in addition.

Newsletter
If you sign up, we store your email address, the time of sign-up and whether and when you open and click our emails. We use this to send you more suitable offers.
You can unsubscribe at any time – via the unsubscribe link at the end of every email or with a short message to us. After that we delete your address from the mailing list.
Basis: your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO).
Reviews
After a purchase we ask you by email for a review. Your review appears in the shop with the name you give. You decide whether to leave one.
Basis: our legitimate interest in feedback (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO), and for the reminder email your consent.
Cookies, measurement and advertising
We use cookies and similar technology. Necessary cookies keep the cart and the session – they always run. For everything beyond that – statistics and advertising – it depends on your country.
If you visit the shop from Germany or Austria, a banner asks you on your first visit. Until you have answered, no cookies run apart from the necessary ones. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the page footer.
If you visit it from Switzerland, we do not show a banner: statistics and advertising cookies run from the first visit. You can object at any time via “Cookie settings” at the very bottom of every page – there you can switch off functionality, statistics and advertising individually. It has the same effect if you block or delete third-party cookies in your browser.

Basis in Germany and Austria: your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO; § 25 TDDDG, § 165 TKG). In Switzerland, Art. 45c FMG does not require prior consent, but requires that we inform you and that you can object – which we do here and in the cookie policy.
Who receives your data
We work with the following service providers. Each one processes data only on our behalf and only for the stated purpose; a data processing agreement is in place with each of them.

In addition, we pass on data where we are legally obliged to do so – for example to tax or customs authorities.
Transfer abroad
Some of these providers are based outside Switzerland and the EU, above all in the USA. For such transfers we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or on a certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Between Switzerland and the EU, data flows in both directions without an additional agreement: the European Commission and the Federal Council recognise the level of protection on the other side as adequate.
How long we store data
- Orders and invoices: ten years – this is required by law.
- Customer account: for as long as it exists.
- Subscription: for as long as it runs; after that only the individual orders remain.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries: until the matter has been dealt with, after that for a maximum of two years.
- Cookies: depending on the service, the durations are set out in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You can request at any time:
- Information about which data we hold about you
- Correction, if something is wrong or incomplete
- Deletion of your data, insofar as we are not required to retain it
- Restriction of processing
- Release of your data in a common file format
- Objection to processing based on our legitimate interest – with advertising always and without giving a reason
- Withdrawal of a consent, with effect for the future
A short message to kontakt@zorvito.ch is enough. We may first ask you for proof that it is really you.
Complaint
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can turn to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland to the Eidgenössischer Datenschutz- und Öffentlichkeitsbeauftragter (EDÖB), in the EU to the data protection authority of your country of residence.
Security
The connection to the shop is encrypted. We protect your data against loss and unauthorised access in line with the state of the art. There is no hundred per cent security on the internet – so please do not send us passwords or payment details by email.
Children
Our offer is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If this has nevertheless happened, write to us – we will delete it.
Changes
If something changes in our services or in the legal situation, we will adapt this statement. The date of the current version is given above.
